YES ! ! . . We Ride AGAIN ! ! . . We will be at the University Inn, Chapel Hill, N C FEB. 25th The Night Riders return to perform in a city of their youth ! ! ! Beach, Boogie, Blues & Soul was the music of the day, The Night Riders were performing in High School Gyms, Community Centers, Teen Clubs, Tobacco Warehouses & Church Basements all around Central North Carolina. The Bop, Fast Dancin’ and The Shag were the dances of the time. I Challenge YOU to introduce a Newcomer to Beach & Shag Music & The Shag Dance. I ask you to support the bands and artist who write, record and perform our music, for without them there would not be any music. Fans, bands, radio stations, clubs, DJs and venues must all work together for the music to continue a generation further. The next time a band playing beach/shag music performs at a place near you, even if it is not your favorite band, or favorite venue, or favorite DJ, support it anyway, we and future generations will be better for it. . . . .
