"Carolina Soul" CD
"Carolina is the Place for Me"
We had a ball at SOS ! ! !
Starting Thursday afternoon off with interviews on 94.9 The Surf, and with Jay Jenkins, Program Director of Southern Soul.com.
Friday, Sept 18th had us on the OD ResortsTiki Deck with ocean breezes blowing, doing both of our new songs and plenty of fans singing along. Then at 4:30 in The Spanish Galleon we were rocking again as the crowd waved for more T-shirts.
What a way to start the weekend!!
After recording several station ID sound bites with various radio stations and a quick dinner it was time to hit the Spanish Galleon again, where The Holiday Band was so gracious as to allow us to perform to our tracks before they hit the stage.
A big ole THANKS to Duane Neese and Ron King for their help with the mics and sound. The place was packed with great shaggers and the dance floor filled as we performed our songs for the final time that evening.
The next day, Saturday, Sept 19 at 2:00 PM we were poolside at the Avista Resort with The Beach Music 45's Showcase Neal Furr and Craig Fleming, where we performed
"Carolina is the Place for Me" & "Come on and Dance with Me"
just before
Maurice Williams and the Zodiacs
put the pool party in high gear.
Many artist were on hand to perform to their tracks.
We could not have ask for a better time to showcase our songs.
Thank all of you for your support, please continue to call your stations and request "Carolina is the Place for Me" Now that it is on a label it may now be charted on ALL of the stations that play our music. We want to hear this song alot on
94.9 the Surf in Myrtle Beach
Copies of this CD may be purchased personally from any
Night Rider Band Member,
